Administrative CRPQ Technician

The Kativik Regional Government (KRG) is seeking skilled individuals who will be responsible for a wide variety of administrative, operational, secretarial and support functions within the organization. Reporting to the Deputy Chief of Operation the incumbent will serve as a point of contact for information to and from the organization, including conducting Criminal Record Check, through PAM and CRPQ System, assisting with Court Liaison Officer, accounting, preparation of reports and written correspondence, communication with a wide range of internal and external contacts.


Who Can Apply:    

Applicants must possess a diploma or certificate in secretarial or administration studies, with some experience in an administrative support capacity, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Salary Range:            

Commensurate with experience and education (with limits of the salary grid).

Abilities & Skills:     

Applicants must possess superior level of computer literacy, especially word processing, spread sheets, presentation software, and research engines & tools. In addition, must have demonstrated effective written communication skills, including creating, composing, and editing a variety of written materials. The incumbent must have strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively on a team and with a wide range of individuals in the Kativik Regional Police Force (KRPF) and Inuit communities. English is the working language; however the ability to work in both official languages (English/French or Inuktitut) is an asset.

Strong organizational and coordination skills, demonstrated sound judgement, tact, initiative and flexibility. Ability to work independently & expeditiously, including working under tight timeframes and competing priorities.
