May 7 2019 - The Consul General signs the Golden Book of the KRG in the company of the Director of the Renewable Resources, Environment, Lands and Parks Department Markusi Qiisik.

U.S. Consul General in Quebec City Allison Areias-Vogel sat with KRG Directors during a meeting held on the afternoon of May 7. It was Mrs. Areias-Vogel’s second visit to the KRG offices of Kuujjuaq.

Quebec Government Increases Funding for Nunavik Seniors


May 10, 2019 - The Kativik Regional Government (KRG) applauded the Quebec government’s announcement today, awarding $2,880,360 in funding for the KRG, the Cree Nation Government and the James Bay Regional Government for initiatives benefiting seniors in the Nord-du-Québec region.
